1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Sisyfuzz ("the Service," "the App," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Sisyfuzz.
2. Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
- By creating an account, you represent that you are 18 years of age or older
2.2 Account Creation
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
3. Description of Service
Sisyfuzz is a gamification and productivity application that helps users:
- Create and manage tasks (deeds), templates, and scenes
- Track progress and earn rewards
- Participate in team collaboration features
- Connect with friends and share progress
- Access premium features through subscriptions
- Sync data across devices
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
3.1 Team Collaboration and Friend Features
Team Collaboration:
- Create or join teams to collaborate on shared tasks and goals
- Team members can see team deeds, member contributions, and shared progress
- Team owners can manage member permissions and visibility settings
- Use team invite codes to add new members
Friend Connections:
- Connect with friends using personal invite codes
- Control what friends can see through privacy levels (Hidden, Aggregated, Shared Content, or Full)
- View friends' progress based on their privacy settings
- Manage friend privacy settings individually for each connection
Data Visibility:
- You control what data is shared with friends through privacy level settings
- Team data sharing is managed by team owners and membership settings
- You can leave teams or remove friends at any time to stop data sharing
4. User Accounts and Data
4.1 Account Responsibilities
- Maintain one account per person (no duplicate accounts)
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Update your information to keep it current
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
4.2 Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through Settings > Account > Delete Account. Upon deletion:
- Your personal data will be immediately and permanently deleted
- Backup copies are retained for 90 days for disaster recovery, then permanently deleted
- User-generated content will be permanently removed
- Subscriptions will be cancelled (subject to refund policy)
- You will lose access to all premium features and content
- All team memberships and friend connections will be terminated
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
5. User-Generated Content
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create in the Service (deeds, templates, scenes, notes, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store, process, and display your content to provide the Service
- Back up your content for data recovery purposes
- Sync your content across your devices
5.2 Content Restrictions
You agree not to create, upload, or share content that:
- Violates any law or regulation
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or offensive
- Promotes violence, discrimination, or illegal activities
- Impersonates another person or entity
- Contains personal information of others without consent
5.3 Content Moderation
We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to:
- Monitor user-generated content
- Remove content that violates these Terms
- Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate content policies
6. Subscriptions and Payments
6.1 Premium Features
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription details include:
- Billing Cycle: Monthly or annual (as selected)
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- Payment Processing: Handled by Google Play or Apple App Store
- Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
6.2 Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by law
- Refund requests must be directed to Google Play or Apple App Store
6.3 Free Trials
- Free trials may be offered for new subscribers
- You will be charged when the trial period ends unless you cancel
- Only one free trial per user
- We reserve the right to determine trial eligibility
7. Acceptable Use Policy
7.1 Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Circumvent security features or access restrictions
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Collect or harvest user data without consent
7.2 Enforcement
Violation of these policies may result in:
- Warning and request to cease prohibited activity
- Temporary suspension of account
- Permanent termination of account
- Legal action if necessary
8. Intellectual Property Rights
8.1 Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, graphics, code, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Sisyfuzz and protected by:
- Copyright laws
- Trademark laws
- Patent laws
- Trade secret laws
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works without our written permission.
8.2 Trademarks
"Sisyfuzz" and associated logos are trademarks of Sisyfuzz. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy (available in Settings > Privacy Policy) explains:
- What data we collect
- How we use your data
- Your rights under GDPR and other privacy laws
- How to exercise your rights
By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services:
- Supabase/Google Cloud: Hosting, authentication, database
- Google Play / Apple App Store: Payment processing
- Google Sign-In: Authentication option
We are not responsible for third-party services' availability, functionality, or privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
11.1 Service "As Is"
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or reliability of content
11.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SISYFUZZ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Third-party actions or content
- Unauthorized access to your account
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
11.3 Exceptions
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on warranties or liability. In such cases, these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sisyfuzz, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your user-generated content
13. Dispute Resolution
13.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall be resolved through German courts in accordance with German law.
13.3 Jurisdiction
For EU users: You may bring legal proceedings in your country of residence. For non-EU users: Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes:
- We will update the "Last Updated" date
- We will notify you via in-app notification or email
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
- If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the Service
15. Termination
15.1 By You
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the App.
15.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Required by law or legal process
- We discontinue the Service
15.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- Provisions that should survive (liability, indemnification, etc.) remain in effect
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sisyfuzz regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
18. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
19. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

21. Acknowledgment
BY CLICKING "I AGREE," CREATING AN ACCOUNT, OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE.
